KAPIT: A local man suffered multiple injuries following a two-vehicle collision at Tatai Kenyalang, Jalan Selirik, here last night (Sept 28).
The accident, involving a Yamaha Y15 motorcycle and a Proton Saga, happened around 8.18pm.
Firefighters from Kapit station were dispatched to the scene, about 5km away, after receiving an emergency call.
Upon arrival, they confirmed the accident and found the injured motorcyclist at the scene with a broken right leg and arm injury.
The team administered treatment on-site for the victim before taking him to Kapit Hospital for further medical attention.
Meanwhile, the Saga driver escaped unharmed in the accident.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the team ended the operation at 8.47pm.
