KUCHING: The song ‘Nak Dara Rindu’ brought Ahmady Mohd Spuan the opportunity to perform at the national level in the P. Ramlee Star Summit at the Perpaduan Stadium next month.
The 34-year-old participant was crowned Best Male P. Ramlee Participant in the Sarawak Zone at the P. Ramlee Auditorium, RTM Sarawak, on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, Nurhamimah Bohan’s stylish performance and vocal strength in singing the song ‘Putus Harapan’ caught the jury’s attention, and she was crowned Best Female Contestant of the P. Ramlee Era.
Both of them took home a cash prize of RM7,000 each, along with a certificate and trophy.
Meanwhile, 10 other participants received a consolation prize of RM2,000 each.
It was also broadcast live through RTM Sarawak’s social media and Sarawakfm radio starting at 8.30 pm, featuring three guest artistes: P. Radhi, Firdaus Materang, and Nurhijrah Yahya.
The prizes were presented by deputy director of Sarawak Broadcasting Department, Norjihan Yahya.
