Hezbollah confirms death of 2 high-ranking commanders in Israeli airstrikes on Beirut

BEIRUT: Nabil Kauk, a member of the central council of Hezbollah, and Ali Karaki, commander of the movement’s southern front, have been killed in Israeli strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, the movement confirmed on Sunday, reported Sputnik. 

“Senior commander Ali Karaki was killed in a criminal Zionist airstrike on the Haret Hreik neighbourhood in the southern suburbs of Beirut (on Sept 27),” the movement said in a statement.

The statement also said Kauk was killed in the Chiyah neighbourhood located in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital on Sept 28. – BERNAMA-SPUTNIK
