MUKAH: Deputy Minister of Economy Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib offered financial assistance amounting to RM14,000 to victims of a house fire that occurred in Kampung Petanak here yesterday.
The aid was handed over by her representative, Almalhakim Norshidi, a staff member of the Mukah Parliamentary Service Centre.
In addition to the cash assistance, basic necessities and food supplies were also given to the fire victims.
Hanifah, who is also Mukah MP expressed sympathy and hope that all the family members affected by the incident would remain strong during this difficult time.
Additionally, she urged others to come forward and offer assistance and donations to the affected families.
