KUCHING: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Patinggi Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi arrived here for a two-day official visit to Sarawak on Friday evening,
He touched down at 4.15 pm at the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Base here aboard a special RMAF aircraft, where he was welcomed by Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts, Datuk Snowdan Lawan.
On Saturday morning, Ahmad Zahid will visit the SALCRA Bajo Lundu Training Centre in Lundu before attending a Leaders with the People event at the Centre for Technology Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS) in Lundu.
In the afternoon, he is scheduled to visit Jumaani Pavilion in the city, before departing for Kuala Lumpur at 3.15 pm aboard a special flight.
Also present to greet him were Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Rubiah Wang, and CENTEXS chief executive officer (CEO), Syeed Mohd Hussien Wan Abdul Rahman.
