MIRI: The Lutong Fire and Rescue Station recently conducted a fire safety drill at SK Pulau Melayu to educate students and staff on fire prevention and response.
A total of 209 teachers, parents, and students, participated the training, which was led by PBK II Kebing Ngau and his Bravo Team.
The session covered fire safety basics, extinguisher use, and a live demonstration.
“By educating young people, we can reduce property damage and loss of life caused by accidental fires,” said the Fire Station chief Henry Jugah.
The drill was part of an ongoing effort by the Fire Station to promote fire safety awareness in schools.
