KUCHING: The Secretary General of the Ministry of Works, Datuk Seri Azman Ibrahim made a courtesy visit to the Sarawak Public Works Department (PWD) Headquarters here yesterday (Oct 8), aimed to foster relationships and cooperation between the newly appointed secretary general and the senior management of Sarawak PWD.
His delegation was warmly welcomed by the Sarawak PWD director Dr Cassidy Morris, alongside the department’s top management.
In his speech, Azman stressed the importance of leadership skills and collaboration within organisation, whilst also highlighting the value of reading as a means of acquiring new knowledge.
Additionally, Cassidy congratulated Azman on his new appointment as Secretary General of the Ministry of Works before presenting an overview of the status of ongoing projects undertaken by the department.
The event was attended by senior management of Sarawak PWD, marking a significant step in building a collaborative working environment.
