MIRI: LED lights are expected to illuminate the Taman Delight 8 area here soon.

Nor awaiting the installation of the park’s electricity meter, the LED lights are expected to bring about a brighter and safer environment for residents to enjoy evening walks and outdoor activities.

Piasau assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting, conducted a final inspection of the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) project on Monday.

The inspection focused on the installation of 13 LED garden lights and two outdoor exercise equipment units.

The Taman Delight 8 recreational park project, which began in 2019, has been carried out in three phases.

The first phase, with an allocation of RM80,000, saw the construction of a mini recreation park.

In 2021, the second phase was completed with RM100,000 allocated for the installation of a children’s playground, outdoor exercise equipment, and landscaping enhancements.
