SIBU: The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Bawang Assan Development Team is making significant strides in improving the infrastructure and addressing the needs of the local community.
On Monday (Oct 14), the team, led by Cr Kevin Lau Kor Jie, joined the Sibu Rural District Council (SRDC) engineering team to officially hand over the tender for the upgrading of Fu Kui Road to the responsible contractor.
This project, funded through a RM200,000 Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) allocation, is set to commence soon.
Following the handover, the team inspected the recently completed Chung Hung Toh Road upgrade, a project that began in mid-September.
Lau reiterated the team’s commitment to infrastructure improvements and problem-solving for Bawang Assan residents.”My team and SRDC will remain vigilant in monitoring the pro
