By MAYA GREEN
A peaceful night, and a churning sea
By the crescent light, alive by the sea
The mountains reach out, high to the sky
By both mine eyes, so I do spy
A quick sketch, I’ll put down to paper
So this scene, is ours to decipher
In the moon light, we’ll sit and ponder
Of the beauty of sky, a source of wonder
Where am I going, do I not know?
At this particular spot, in this universe!
The reason and rhyme we’ll soon know
It’s written in our hearts, the very first verse!

On the road, seated on the passenger seat
The mind wonders to a world beyond
Kuala Lumpur, the muddy estuary.
