KUCHING: A man in his 40s sustained injuries following a road accident involving an SUV along Jalan Datuk Stephen Yong this morning (Oct 19).
According to a report by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the emergency call was received at 7.20am and a team from Batu Lintang station attended to the incident.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the male victim unconscious inside the vehicle.
Using a stretcher, they managed to extract him from the SUV before handing him over to paramedics at the scene for further medical attention.
