BINTULU: Tanjong Batu assemblyman, Johnny Pang Leong Ming, affirmed his commitment to support programmes that focus on education progress to improve the community’s quality of life.

He was speaking at the inaugural launching of Bandarian Charity Run 2024 which was held at the Islamic Center of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Bintulu Campus near here yesterday.

Pang emphasised the importance of charity activities such as this as a platform to unite the community and to help those in need.

He is determined to ensure all the initiatives that focus on education and community development will continue to receive his attention.

“The involvement of students in such programmes not only benefits them individually, but also creates a more sensitive and responsible generation.

“Education is not only limited to the classroom, but also involves life experiences that will shape character and noble values ​​in them,” he added.

At the same time, Pang invited all levels of society to get together and support initiatives that could improve the quality of life and develop the youth potential in the Tanjong Batu area.
