AMERICAN tech giant Apple recently announced that its lineup of iPad Pro with the M4 chip, as well as the iPad Air with M2, are getting price adjustments after their initial release back in May of this year, to make them more affordable than before.

During the launch, the M2 iPad Air was priced at RM2,999 for the smaller 11-inch model, with the larger 13-inch version starting at RM3,999. The former has been adjusted down to start from RM2,599, while the latter now starts from RM3,499.

Meanwhile, the M4 iPad Pro models that were launched in the same event had a starting price of RM5,299 for the 11-inch version, and the price had been brought down to RM4,499. The 13-inch model previously started at RM6,799, but now customers can get one from RM5,899 onwards. Also worth mentioning is the Apple Pencil Pro, which now has a RM549 price tag, RM50 lower than when it first launched.

Apple has periodically adjusted its prices for products being sold in markets outside of its home and in both directions. But perhaps it is not as common for it to happen as soon as half a year after their launch.
