KUCHING: Maxim E-hailing has expanded its delivery services in Sarawak by introducing a new 4×4 wheel drive delivery option, aimed at meeting the rising demand for transporting small-to-medium-sized items that do not require bulky vehicles.

This new option is designed to provide greater convenience for customers, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with frequent delivery needs.

The company said that the 4×4 service is tailored for lightweight items such as office equipment, chairs, and tables that do not occupy significant space, adding that Maxim E-hailing aims to offer a practical solution for businesses that require efficient and cost-effective transportation of their goods.

Owner of local business Urneeds Farhah shared her positive experience with Maxim’s new delivery service.

“Maxim’s delivery makes my day-to-day operations easier as drivers pick up items directly from my home and deliver them safely to my customers.

“It’s especially helpful for delivering cakes, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition. Plus, they allow multiple delivery stops in one trip, which is incredibly convenient,” she was quoted as saying.

After the introduction of the new rate, Maxim’s first delivery in Kuching took place on Oct 12, with an order placed at 2.51pm.
The delivery, from Mf Store in Kampung Sungai Jernang Baru to An Nam Cafe in Kampung Mendang Lumut, was successfully completed by a partner-driver using a white Perodua Alza.

Maxim also offers affordable rates for their delivery services, with the option for users to request assistance from drivers in carrying items. The final price is shown before the order is confirmed, ensuring there are no hidden fees.

Speaking about the initiative, Mohd Hazwan Musley, director of Maxim Malaysia, emphasised the company’s commitment to providing clear, upfront pricing and reliable services.

“This service is one of the efforts from the management to help users that need transportation of small-to-medium-sized items, to make their life easier.

“We also provide clear and upfront pricing, so our customers always know what to expect without worrying about hidden fees. This is complemented by our real-time tracking capabilities, which allow customers to monitor their items’ location and status at any time, offering unparalleled peace of mind.
