SRI AMAN: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Sri Aman Branch has taken on a rather sweet case handover from Battalion 11 of the General Operations Force (PGA) Batu Kawa, involving subsidised sugar and a car worth RM71,530.
According to a statement today (Oct 26), items were seized on Oct 24 at the ICQS border in Lubok Antu, Sarawak.
“Following the inspection, KPDN Sri Aman, Sarawak, seized the following: a Toyota Avanza vehicle, 360 kg of CSR brand raw sugar, and 120 units of CSR brand refined white sugar,” said KPDN.
They added that two foreign women were detained and handed over to the KPDN Sri Aman, Sarawak enforcement team by the PGA.
“Further investigations will be conducted under the Control of Supplies Act (AKB) 1961,” they added.
