SRI AMAN: An 83-year-old woman was found safe and sound yesterday (Oct 26) after being reported missing since 11 am on Friday (Oct 25).
According to the Sri Aman Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the victim’s family filed a report after their mother did not return home when she left their longhouse at Rh John, Jalan Sengkuang Hilir, Undup Batu Lintang.
“At 8 am today (Oct 26), we received a call from the Sri Aman District Police Headquarters (IPD) informing us that the victim had been found by a member of the public at approximately 7.30 am,” said the statement by Bomba.
The department stated that the victim was found safe at a garden located around 200 metres from her longhouse.
“The victim was handed over to family members and did not require any medical treatment. The operation was completed at 9 am,” added the statement.
