MUKAH: The Daro Family Mini Market made donation via the Food Bank Siswa to students at Mukah Polytechnic (PMU), here, today.

According to a statement from the Office of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) here, the donation was in the form of food items.

“This donation is under the Student Food Bank Donation Programme.

“It was attended by PMU director Suhaili Aleh, deputy director (Academic Support) Sophian Sout and Head of Student Affairs and Development Department Aiesah Karim,” he said in a statement.

Meanwhile, KPDN Mukah was represented by Deputy Head of Branch Mohamad Rizal Sehe, Assistant Enforcement Officer Arzamzri Sukiman and Enforcement Assistant Safawati Japar.

Also present were representative of the Student Movement Advisor (GPS) Shafiq Nasarudin and six GPS students.

Previously, this Student Food Bank Programme was one of the continuity initiatives from the Food Bank Malaysia Programme.

Now, it has been expanded to the level of Public Higher Education Institutes to help students, especially those from the B40 group.
