KUCHING: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan has urged members of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Kuala Rajang to understand important government policies, such as the Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030).
“By understanding and actively implementing these policies, PBB members can become active participants in the growth plans spearheaded by the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government,” he said during the PBB N41 Kuala Rajang delegate general meeting themed ‘PBB as the Pillar of Stability, Progress, and Sustainability for Sarawak’ held at the IKS Hall, Tanjung Manis today (Nov 2)
Awang Tengah said the party is committed to safeguarding Sarawak’s distinct identity and autonomy within Malaysia, and ensuring the future rights of the Bumiputera community.
“The Party also strives for the welfare and progress of Bumiputera in areas such as education, economics, social and culture, as well as to promote harmony and unity among citizens to create a strong and united nation,” he added.
Awang Tengah, who is also the PBB deputy president, praised the GPS government’s achievements under the leadership of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Abang Openg.
He urged party members to remain united and support the Premier to ensure PBB’s continued relevance and leadership of the Sarawak government.
