KUCHING: Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii has contributed RM173,242 to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Green Road to support the school’s furniture needs.
The funds will be used to replace worn-out desks and chairs in both the staff room and classrooms.
“Most of the furniture currently in use is already worn out and may no longer be suitable,” he said in a Facebook post today (Nov 11).
“This donation aims to provide students with a better learning environment, enhancing the quality of their education.”
Dr Yii hoped that the contribution would improve the comfort and well-being of both teachers and students at the school.
“I will continue to support schools in the Bandar Kuching area because, for me, investing in education is one of the most important things for the future of our country,” he added.
