KUCHING: Kuching City FC have been drawn to face Penang FC in the Round of 16 of the 2024 Malaysia Cup.

The much-anticipated match is set to begin on Nov 20, with teams across the country battling for supremacy.

Following the draw session held Tuesday night (Nov 12), Kuching City FC will play their first match away at Penang FC’s home ground.

The second leg will take place at Kuching City’s home stadium, Sarawak State Stadium, one week after the first match.

Kuching City FC will be looking to build on their strong league performance as they prepare for the knockout rounds of the prestigious tournament.

The squad, led by head coach Aidil Sharin Sahak, has been in solid form and is eager to make a deep run in the Malaysia Cup.

The team’s impressive blend of experienced players and rising stars will be key as they look to advance to the quarter-finals.
