KUCHING: In a targeted operation dubbed “Op Khas Motosikal,” the Road Transport Department (RTD) apprehended 48 motorists for various traffic offences on Monday (Nov 25).

According to a statement posted on the RTD’s Facebook page, the operation focused on patrolling areas within the Kuching district.

A total of 150 vehicles were inspected, resulting in the issuance of 48 non-compliance notices.

The department reminds all road users of the importance of adhering to traffic laws for their safety and the safety of others.

The public is encouraged to report traffic violations directly through the e-Aduan@jpj application or the department’s website at http://jpj.spab.gov.my.
