KUCHING: The upcoming state-level Hari Belia Sarawak 2024 in Mukah aims to achieve a unique milestone by attempting a record for “The Most Bottle Caps Used on a Wall Mural”.
Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said this initiative is strongly supported by the community in Mukah, who have generously contributed bottle caps for this purpose.
“At the same time, the Ministry can realise the green sustainability campaign outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the Post-Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030.
“This year, we are set to break another record through the involvement of youth from the Mukah Division as last year in Kapit, we achieved the Malaysia Book of Records for the largest state flag made from bead embroidery, measuring 4.89 meters by 2.44 meters,” he said during a press conference on the upcoming Hari Belia Sarawak 2024 here Tuesday (Nov 26).
