A report was lodged on February 23 that Polus Deng, who had gone out of the house at 7am to enter a jungle, had not returned home yet.

According to Lundu police chief DSP Wong Chee Keong, Polus, 49, has no health issue and is an odd job worker.  Wong said the family members were worried about his disappearance.

Wong added the search for Polus would cover the jungle, roads and rivers.

Wong hoped that they would find the missing man safely today. However, at press time, Polus was still missing.
