MIRI: A female motorcyclist sustained bodily injuries when her bike was involved in a collision with two cars late Friday evening near the Piasau traffic light intersection.
According to the State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, in the 4.30pm incident, the rider was on her way to Luak from Piasau when her bike was hit by a car.
Following the impact, the rider lost control of her motorcycle and was hit by a second car.
Alexson said the first car that hit the motorcyclist sped off from the scene.
The injured motorcyclist was sent to Miri Hospital for treatment.
