The BALB projects, to benefit four villages namely, Supa, Medang, Tuie and Serabang, are now in the final phase and are expected to begin operation when they reach 88 per cent completion.
In fact, at 85 per cent completion, Rh Buda Ulu and Buda Ili will have their supply running, said Saribas assemblyman Mohammad Razi Sitam.
“The RM21 million project is running as scheduled, but I will monitor it from time to time,” he said, adding that expected completion is next month.
He said this when contacted by reporters after the BALB Saribas project briefing and site visit here today.
“On behalf of the people of Saribas state constituency, I wish to thank Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg as well as the state government for their commitment in solving the water supply problem here,” he added. – Sarawak Voice
