Firemen trying to extricate the injured Diana from the pick-up truck.

BINTULU: A driver and passenger, both teenagers, of a pick-up truck were injured after the driver lost control of the vehicle before it rolled and landed on its side near the main entrance to Samalaju Industrial Park today.

Seven firemen from Samalaju fire station led by Alan Ayuh were despatched to the scene following a distress call received on the crash at 12.28pm.

One of the teenagers aged 20 identified as Diana Sambai Franchess was pinned downed on her seat in the crash while 19-year-old Ting Sie Ling managed to crawl out of wreckage.

They were both taken to Bintulu Hospital for treatment.

It took the firemen less than 20 minutes to extricate Diana from her seat.
