The car which collided with the two Bangladeshis.

KUCHING: Two Bangladeshis sustained injuries after they collided with a Perodua Kembara at 11.20pm on Monday night.

The driver, an 18-year-old girl from Batu Kawa new township was driving from Serian to Kuching when she collided with the cyclists at Mile 16 Kuching-Serian Road.

The two victims aged 38 and 45 broke the windscreen of the car after landing on it before being flung to the grassy road verge.

Passers-by, who saw what happened, stopped and called an ambulance.

Both the men rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital where they were admitted for treatment.

The driver of the car sustained only minor injuries.

Police are now investigating the cause of the accident.
