KUCHING: A pick-up truck collided with an MPV at Jalan Cana here early this morning.
The impact of the collision caused the MPV driver to be pinned to his seat.
Firefighters had to use a special equipment to extricate the driver before he was taken to Sarawak General Hospital in an ambulance.
The driver of the pick-up truck was unhurt although the vehicle was badly damaged.
Eight firefighters led by Senior Fire Officer II Christopher Tungoh, two police personnel and three ambulances were at the scene.
