SAMARAHAN: The police here arrested three suspects aged between 23 and 28 for robbing a convenience store at 4.15am last Monday.
One of the suspects broke the door of the store before taking away a box where money is kept. The suspect then escaped with the box in a car.
An hour later, police on patrol duty saw the suspects in a car at Kampung Meranek near here and arrested them. One of the suspects however managed to escape.
The police later seized the car and cash box and also arrested the third suspect.
The three suspects are being detained for further investigation.
Meanwhile, in another case, a 45-year-old lawyer from Kampung Gersik reported that at about 1.00am last Monday, his wife called him and told him that their daughter was in the house when intruders climbed into the house.
The intruders left the house after taking away mobile phones, a television set, shoes,
fishing rods, power bank, hair dryer and other electrical appliances. Total losses is estimated at more than RM10,000.
The burglars are believed to have entered the house through the back door.
