A Malaysian Society of Animal Production (MSAP) delegation today paid a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah at his office here.

The group was led by MSAP director Khairuddin Minnaj, its executive Dr Abdul Razak Alimon, MSAP business venture director Dr Abu Hassan Muhammad Ali and Prof Madya Dr Anjas Asmara Shamsuddin, the deputy dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, UTM.

Also joining them was a pilot Capt Roslan Bujang.

During the visit, Dr Abu Hassan briefed Uggah, who is also Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Minister, on the roles and functions of MSAP.

He also proposed some approaches to develop the ruminant sub-sector in Sarawak.

He voiced MSAP’s interest to act as consultant for the Sarawak government in the sub-sector.
