MUKAH: Eleven taekwondo exponents from Mukah will be representing Sarawak in the National Schools Taekwondo Championship and Sabah Open 2017 this month.
They were the students of SMK Three Rivers (TRS), SMK St Patrick (SPS), MARA Junior Science College Mukah (MRSM) and Kelab TKD Tunas Mukah(TKD)
According to the local taekwondo instructor, Zaidi Morshidi, it will be held at in Sabah from May 5 to 7.
“The exponents from Mukah are Muhd Izzadtul Syafiq Zaidi, Muhd Izzuddin Jamil, Tan Mei Ling, Sharmantha Tan, Norazwil Aimy & Akhmal Bahri(TRS), Muhd Syahmin Afiq Zaidi(SPS), Aina Sabrina Sait(TKD) and from MRSM Mukah(Dyg Farhanah, Justin Daniel, Muhd Aiman Basri),” he said.
Zaidi added that they will be joining 14 other exponents from other secondary schools in the state. The students from Mukah district were selected from the state level taekwondo championship held in Mukah Town, recently.
