MIRI: An Indonesian man, believed to be a small time drug dealer, was arrested by police last Saturday.

Acting on information received, a police team from the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) raided a premises in Sepupok Niah at around 2.50pm and detained the suspect in his 30s.

Police also seized 39 packets filled with crystalline substance believed to be syabu.

“The suspect is taken to the NCID office for further investigation under Section 39A (1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1952,” sources said.
