KOTA SAMARAHAN: Syamimi Binti Zulkipli of Malay-Bisaya parentage from Limbang was crowned ‘Puteri GLAM 2017’ after beating 10 others in the final held at Asajaya Sport Complex, Asajaya near here, last Saturday evening
The 29-year-old businesswoman bagged a cash prize of RM1,000, a crown, a certificate and beauty products. The final of the beauty pageant was witnessed by more than 2,000 people.
Another businesswoman, Stephenie Lisa Ong, 28, of Chinese-Bidayuh parentage from Kuching was the 1st runner-up and won a cash prize of RM750 while Nursufia Ashila Othman, 19, a student of Malay-Indian-Arab parentage from Simunjan was the 2nd runner-up and won a cash prize of RM500.
Asnida Roslan, 19, was named Puteri Photogenic; Fatin Ammera Jamil, 23, was named Puteri Best Catwalk; Masitah Samuhi, 29, as Puteri Congeniality; and Evie Sendi Ibil, 27, won the Puteri Favourite title. Each of them received a cash prize of RM200, a certificate and beauty products.
Puteri GLAM Search Programme was organised by GLAM Bridal Sdn. Bhd., a Kuching-based bridal boutique.
GLAM`s adviser-cum-beauty consultant, Datin Ezanoni Hadjeli, who is also chairperson of the Puteri GLAM organising committee presented prizes to the winners.
The next selection session of Puteri GLAM will be held at Lundu Community Hall, Lundu on Sunday, 21 May, 2017 .
The final will be on 28 July, 2017 in conjunction with the annual Lundu Festival at the Lundu Water Front.
