BINTULU: A worker’s house belonging to Wang Lift Transport Sdn. Bhd at Mile 9, Jalan Bintulu-Miri was destroyed by fire early yesterday morning.
According to Assistant Superintendent of Bintulu Fire and Rescue, Ishak Mohd Amran, all the four house occupants managed to escape unhurt.
Eight firemen led by PBK II Zulkifli went to the scene.
“The fire was extinguished at about 4.14am and 70 per cent of the house was razed,” he said.
Also present at the scene to help was Head of Bintulu Fire Station, Di-Hatta Gobel.
