KUCHING: Six hundred and fifty members of the police force here today attended a joint church service at St. Basil’s Church, Batu Kawa.
They were led by Sarawak Contingent Police Headquarters Investigation Department and Traffic Enforcement head Supt Alexson Naga Chabu.
The event was held in conjunction with the 212nd Police Day Celebration.
In his speech, Alexson thanked all participants of the joint church service and hoped it would strengthen the friendship bonds between all members of the police force.
The participants came from the Sarawak Contingent Police Headquarters, Pulapol Kuching, General Operation Force Brigade, General Operation Force Battalion 11, the Marine Operation Force, the Air Operation Force, IPD Kuching, IPD Padawan, IPD Bau, IPD Kota Samarahan, IPD Serian, IPD Lundu and police retirees.
