LUBOK ANTU: Sekolah Kebangsaan Skarok here whose hostel block was gutted by fire recently received a total of RM1,450 from Class of SPM 1989 comprising former students of Kolej Datu Patinggi Abang Haji Abdillah, Kuching.

The donation was presented by a representative of the ex-students, Dickie Dennis Andrew to the headmaster of SK Skarok, Ajan Imbang at the school, yesterday.

Two building blocks of the school including a male dormitory were razed in an evening fire last Sunday which affected 19 pupils of Year 1 to Year 6.

The students were in their classrooms for evening studies when the fire broke out at 7.15 pm. However, no one was hurt in the fire.
