KUCHING: Firemen had to extricate a woman passenger of a car after it overturned at Jalan Simpang Tebekang, Serian at 10.25am yesterday.
The passenger, a 67-year-old woman who suffered a broken left shoulder was later taken to Serian Hospital.
The woman and her husband were in the car driven by her husband’s friend when it went out of control and overturned.
Her husband and the car driver who suffered only minor injuries managed to crawl out of the car but the woman could not as she was trapped.
It took the firemen about half an hour using special tools to free her.
