BETONG: Layar assemblyman Gerald Rentap Jabu distributed a total of 35 hampers to patients at Betong Hospital during his visit there recently.
During the visit, Rentap and committee members of the Betong Gawai Dayak took the opportunity to mingle with the patients.
They also received feedback on the facilities needed by the hospital in dealing with its frequent problems.
According to Rentap, the visit could help strengthen the relationship with the hospital.
Rentap and his entourage were also taken to visit the various wards comprising children ward, general ward, maternity ward as well as the emergency and trauma unit.
Also present were Betong Vocational College director Lim Ah Juan who is also Betong Gawai Committee chairman and Betong Social Welfare officer Uwieng Gimos.
