KOTA SAMARAHAN: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) participated in an education exhibition held in Sri Aman recently.
Bukit Bangunan assemblyman Datuk Mong Dagang officiated at the two-day exhibition held at Aden Restaurant in conjunction with the 48th state-level Teachers’ Day celebration.
This year, Sri Aman and Lubuk Antu Education Offices were selected to host the exhibition.
Besides Unimas, Yayasan Sarawak, Bank Rakyat, National Higher Education Fund Corporation (Ptptn), Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Bumiputera Sarawak (Tegas), school clubs around Sri Aman and many others also participated in the event.
Themed “Guru Obor Hemah Menyinari Pertiwi”, the exhibition honoured teachers who had sacrificed much for the nation’s educational excellence.
The Teachers’ Day celebration also featured book sales, high-powered motorcycle shows and talks.
