KUCHING: The International Trade and E-Commerce Ministry yesterday launched the Gago Instant Job smart app.
E-Commerce Assistant Minister and Entrepreneur, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Minister Datuk Mohamad Naroden Majais officiated at the soft launch at the lobby of Bangunan Baitul Makmur here.
The ministry, in its media statement, urged the public, especially youths who were still looking for jobs and had the skills and experience in various fields, to use the app.
“Hopefully, with this application, people can generate income,” it said.
It also hoped that the application could enrich, develop and instil the e-Commerce culture in the society.
Gago app is a mobile app platform that collects service providers’ data and connects them directly to the users as easy as one button click with e-hailing method.
The advantages of the Gago app include instant booking and scheduled booking, cheap, reliable, e-wallet, (cashless), e-hailing, live tracking and services history.
Users only need to download the app from the Playstore and register following the steps provided.
