KUCHING: A teenager died in a freak accident after he was run over by a lorry yesterday afternoon.
Danish Bakhtiar Mian Baharuddin from Kpg Gelam, Pork Dickson, Negeri Sembilan was riding a motorcycle along Jalan Demak at 1pm when it went out of control causing him to fall near the roadside.
A lorry which was trailing behind Danish failed to stop on time and ran over him, killing him instantly. Parammedics who arrived at the scene pronounced Danish had died.
Danish was the second of five siblings. His remains were taken to the Sarawak General Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
