IPOH: The arrival of the “Kembara Media Perak” 2019 participants was welcomed by Perak Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Uzumu during a dinner held at Lost World of Tambun here recently.
The 14th annual programme organised by the Malaysia Information Department (JaPen), will last for four days from June 28 to July 1, as participants will be visiting places of interest in several districts around Perak.
Ahmad Faizal said that he hoped the participants would be able to enjoy the beauty of each district and further strengthen the relationship between the state governments and the media.
On the first day of the visit, participants were brought to Muhammadiah Mosque (Chinese Mosque), Gunung Lang Recreational Park, Movie Animation Park Studios (Maps) and The Lost World of Tambun.
A total of 23 participants from 16 media agencies throughout Malaysia are participating in the programme.
The programme is organised to spread the government’s initiatives and successes in the implementation of public service delivery system to the people.
Also present were JaPen deputy director-general (digital content) Datuk Mohd Sukari Ab Hamid, JaPen media and corporate communications division director Dr Haniff Hasan, Perak Information director Mohd Taib Ubah, and Lost World of Tambun general manager Nurul Nuzairi Mohd Azahari.
