KUCHING: The Kuching Water Board (KWB) informed yesterday that it was scheduled to carrying out pipe connection work at Mile 10 Kuching-Serian Road from 10pm tomorrow to 5pm on Thursday.
The proposed work, however, will be postponed to the following day if the weather condition does not permit.
Consumers along Kuching-Serian Road, stretching from Mile 9 to Mile 16, Mile 16 Sibutan to JBALB water supply area, Jalan Kuap, Sri Arjuna Booster Station Mile 10, Jalan Landeh, Jalan Puncak Borneo and JBALB water supply will be affected and are expected to experience water supply interruption during the period.
KWB, therefore, advised consumers to be prepared for the said situation. The board expressed regrets for the inconvenience caused to consumers.
It assured that all efforts will be made to restore the water supply as soon as possible.
