KUCHING: A student, who returned home from school, found her house broken into and her car, a Myvi, stolen.
She lodged a police report on Sunday at about 8pm.
Burglars broke her fence before gaining access to the house through the back door.
Beside the car, other items in her house were also stolen but she had not yet verified them.
In a separate case, a businessman lost his office laptop, accessories and other electronic items.
The businessman, from Heights estate, found the back window of his shop at Jalan Stutong had been forced open when he turned up for work.
The losses was yet to be estimated. Police are investigating the cases.
