Samajaya Nature Reserve closes for repair and upgrading work

KUCHING:  SamaJaya Nature Reserve with be closed to the public from July 29 to Sept 29.

The closure, announced by Sarawak Forestry yesterday, is to enhance the facilities of the nature reserve and provide better service to the public.

“The affected structures are the Activity Centre, Bamboo Museum, Japanese Garden and the jogging tracks. However, the booking office will remain open as usual,” said the department in a media release.

It advised the public not to enter the nature reserve during the stated period.

SamaJaya Nature Reserve will resume operations as usual after repair works have been completed and deemed safe for the public.

Sarawak Forestry apologises for any inconvenience caused and for related information and enquiries.
