In his speech, Minister of Works, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof urged parents in Petra Jaya to support their children if they showed interest in technical and vocational fields.
“Under the Ministry of Works, there are agencies like Akademi Binaan Malaysia (ABM) which provide training to those interested in technical fields.
“ABM can train them specifically to brush up their skills in various technical and vocational fields such as piping, electrical, welding and so on. From there on, they can pave career paths for themselves,” said Fadilah.
He also urged the community to be more generous and kind during this holy month of Ramadan.
