KUCHING: Sarawak ‘C’ squad (Youth Cup) finally won and got full points after beating PKNS FC (1-0) at the PKNS field, Kelana Jaya on last weekend.
The winning goal was scored by Hendri Amir in the 82nd minute.
“Finally, the victory is in our hand. Congratulations to the players for delivering the three points to bring home to Kuching,” said head coach Safri Amit when commenting on the success of his players.
According to Safri, the players have implemented all tasks with excellence and what is important to capitalise on chances and, hoped the players can maintain the momentum for action against Pahang at the State Stadium in Petra Jaya yesterday.
With the victory, the young squad now collected four points from one win and one draw from two matches so far.
