KUCHING: Kuching FA will have to come up with their best in their next 11 matches in the M3 League. All the matches will be crucial for them, meaning they must win all to ensure they continue to stay on top of the table or at least finish second to earn a play-off match against Sarawak senior team to determine who will in the Premier League next year. Their next match against Batu Dua on August 17 at the Sarawak Stadium is no exception.
Kuching FA coach Ideris Untong is of course aware of that and kept on reminding his players to stay cool under pressure. “I have told them to take every match seriously and not to give up when the chips are down,” said Ideris, adding that it was risky for his team to lose or even draw as Kelantan United are trailing very closely. Two other teams — Armed Forces and DDM are in third and fourth positions respectively. Ideris said the team training is focusing on mid-field and upfront, especially on scoring. After 15 matches, Kuching FA have registered 13 wins and two draws.
