SONG: The improvement and enhancement of logistics facilities at police district headquarters (IPDs) in rural areas such as IPD Song will be given priority to ensure smooth running of daily operation as well as the coming 14th General Election, said State Commissioner of Police, Datuk Mazlan Mansor.

The enhancement includes the increase of numbers of vehicles and boats in areas that are only accessible through waterways.

Mazlan said this when visiting IPD Song here yesterday morning.

In addition, the purpose of Mazlan’s visit is to ensure the welfare of his men is looked after such as providing a comfortable working place and accommodation.

Also present were Sibu District Police chief, ACP Saiful Bahari Abdullah and State Police Contingent Strategic and Technological Resources Department (StaRT) head, ACP Radenan Mohamad Alwi.
