MUKAH: A Mukah Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) team caught a python which entered a house at Kampung Tellian Laut here yesterday morning.
According to a Bomba Mukah spokesman, three firemen rushed to the scene after receiving a call about the snake at 9am.
“Upon arrival, we found the large snake in a bathroom of the house and we managed to catch it.
“After that, we released the snake into a nearby forest,” he said.
However, according to the homeowner, the snake, which was as big as a 1.5mm water bottle, had swallowed two of his cats before he discovered it in the bathroom.
